Power
Interesting effects can be seen where power lines intersect with trees. At these points, trees appear split or have gaps where the power lines pass nearby. I wonder if the electrical field from the lines stunts and shapes the tree growth or if the vigor of growth demands the tree must be pruned to make an easement for the lines. Both forces are powerful and despite the true cause result in some interesting topiary along the city streets. This project documents such displays.
